    Twelve years before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, Sir Thomas Phillips was granted a license to distill whiskey.  Some 400 years later, the oldest registered distillery in the world is still going strong.  Bushmills family of whiskeys continues to fill shelves in bars, and decorate cabinets at homes around the world.  And on one lovely evening with cooler temperatures settling in, we blind tasted Bushmills Irish Whiskey. Bushmills Irish Whiskey is more popularly known simply as Bushmills White Label.  This clever name comes from the fact that it has a white label on the bottle.  This trend continues in the equally clever naming of Bushmills Black Label.  That particular whiskey has a black label on the bottle.
